I can understand some people who have been through the mill finding this objectional and I can sympathise with that on the other hand why should a judicial committee aka kangaroo court made up of blind ,small minded ,bigoted and opinionated group of tin pot dictators get away with demonising anybody who dares to stand up and object to Watchtower practice.
This clip is a lesson an illustration in not letting the so called JW brothers be taken for more than they are -- jumped up non entities who should be totally blanked at every question they ask. Don't let little dictators rule your life stand up be free , think for yourself throw off those shackles.

Is this Loaded Language in the 2011 Calendar?
by maninthemiddle ini think it could be fair to say, that if paul spoke for jesus, then "revealed truth" could be a valid description since the scriptures say he visited them several times, but i think the loaded language comes in when you try to apply this to modern times, (wts a modern paul?).
i see this as trying to mold the first century to fit the current wts/jws.
what do you think?.

i was looking out the front window and spotted him walking up the drive.
then just before he pressed the door bell he about turned and sprinted back down the road, no mean feat if your an old man and there's snow and ice everywhere !!!

Did Jesus have a haidresser ?
by edmond dantes ini coudn't help but notice in a recent watchtower ( february i think it was).
jesus was pointing the way to some one with two fingers ,not to somebody who had two fingers but pointing the way with two fingers.
just one finger might have give the wrong impression.. the point is jesus had what can only be described as this fabulous head of hair .i mean it was like wow because your worth it !

A further revelation from the Barber Abbas diaries has just been published although not specifically mentioned in the aforesaid parchments it is now an accepted fact according to the Watchtower of Dec 1st 2010 that Jesus did have a hairstyle to die for . This is evidenced by the illustration on page 18 . This picture also answers the question posed on the back page of the Watchtower , Would you have recognised the Messiah if you had lived in Jesus' day? The answer is obviously yes because he looked so fantastic back then which in part is thanks to the skill of his barber.
The plain fact of the matter is ,as can be seen from the picture, the Jewish leaders were unkempt with untidiness oozing out of their very being and must have suffered terrible constipation judging by the expressions on their faces. If anyone can display the page it will become quite apparent to all honest people of good will who are by the same token honest seekers of truth. I mean who are you going to believe for goodness sake he who has had a makeover or those who look like they have just got out of the wrong side of the bed after a night out with the temple guards.

by Terry inever searched for nostalgia items, collectibles or antiques on ebay, craig's list or some such venue?.
a lot of junk has become valuable with the passage of time.. yes, junk.. gradually it seemed to gather a mysterious inflation of valuation.. the items themselves receive wear and tear but they way they are regarded takes on an almost awesome patina of wonderful.. .
i'll give you an example.. i loved to play cowboy when i was a young kid; especially gunslinger/fast draw style.. my favorite guns were made by stallion.

You have terrific insight. I agree with you that when they put the tag holy on to ancient writings it gave it something more meaning than super ,smashing ,terrific.
It's a bit like when the king of a country said " from now on call me Your majesty "or " Your Royal Highness " It didn't make the king a different person it it just gave him extra aura in the eyes of the great unwashed. The king might have been a great leader or he might have been a dimbo but with those titles he had that extra wow factor and respect. Of course it called for obedience as well.

watchtower publishing company , their brothers and sisters of the lower order in the uk are begging for charitable donations through the jah jireh care home home site.. it seems as if some of the millions who will never die are now doing just that and are in need of urgent help because armageddon or cloud cuckoo land as it is known to the sane, refuses to show up.. maybe the past w/t presidents who have reached their sell by dates residing in the heavenly realm can speed things up a little.. if you would like to make a donation go to the jah jireh website and check out the latest news..

The Jah Jireh care homes also receives finance from Local Authorities if any resident without the money to pay is in need of medical care. So the very wicked Worldly Authority controlled by the Devil is giving christian care to the more unfortunate of society. I wonder if they will do an article about it in the Awake.

The problem with the W/T Corporation ,well one of the myriad problems, is that it has a one way relationship business oriented set up. All the gains that go into making it a success are brought about by the work put into it by rank and file labourers who are motivated mainly by fear, fear of getting zapped at Armageddon and having to deal with the thoughts of everlasting death if they don't come up to the mark. They are not told that there is every possibility of reaching old age in fact it's odds on favourite that the majority will grow old but the Society do not really want you to think about that fact. As all of us old timers know, you are young one day and before you know it youth evaporates and before you realise its gone for ever. If you spend all your years with the misconception that you will have eternal youth problems are bound to occur and it is difficult enough to plan for old age as it is without the Watchtower Misinformation Society telling you a pack of porkies ( lies)
The one way relationship is the same as with any other bosses of a business who like to chant the mantra " if you don't shape up ,ship out. " but the difference is you generally get paid for shaping up. The Society are actually very bad at religion they are just good at selling castles in the sky they do not even have decent hymns for goodness sake. You do not get ( in my humble opinion) any real peaceful feelings that can lift you up sometimes which you can get from a mainstream religious service. I would say that true love is lacking in Watchtower land and I might also add there is a definite lack of wisdom.
The governing body claim charitable satus but unfortunately it's a one way street and we know where that street leads to . I would just like to add that in my time as a JW I knew an elderly couple who were around in 1914 .They had spent all their life pioneering etc. They worked full time from the days of their youth to old age serving the publishing corporation untill they died in the 1960s . Their home was a very dark upstairs appartment that seemed to hark back to Charles Dickens times. That was one of the many instances that made me question the Society.
